Is there a dress code required for the Wedding?Yes. Guests are expected to wear Black Tie attire. This attire is the pinnacle of formal elegance, with an option to embrace a touch of creativity. Here’s what is expected: For Women: A floor-length gown is the traditional choice, crafted from luxurious fabrics like silk, satin, velvet, chiffon, or crepe for a sophisticated look. Elegant evening jumpsuits or formal separates in similarly upscale materials are also acceptable. Accessories like fine jewelry, a clutch, and formal heels complete the ensemble. For a creative touch, consider unique cuts, bold colors, or subtle embellishments that add personality while maintaining formality. For Men: A tuxedo is required, including a dinner jacket, matching trousers, a formal white shirt, a bow tie, and patent leather oxfords or tuxedo loafers/slippers. For a creative black tie look, guests might incorporate a velvet blazer, patterned bow tie, or a pocket square with a pop of color. While the dress code allows room for individual flair, it remains an occasion for true formalwear—cocktail dresses or business attire are not appropriate. Black tie sets the tone for a luxurious and memorable evening, and we look forward to seeing your elegant and personal takes on this classic style!

What Shoes Should I Wear for a Black Tie Event with Outdoor and Indoor Elements? For a black tie event with varied terrain—here are some recommendations: For Women: Block Heels - Stylish block heels offer better stability on uneven surfaces like grass or gravel while maintaining a formal look. Consider leather, suede, or metallic finishes. Wedges - Dressy wedges are a great choice for navigating outdoor terrain without sacrificing elegance. Sleek designs pair well with formal attire. Flats - Embellished or satin flats can be both practical and chic, complementing a formal gown while offering comfort. Heel Protectors - If wearing stilettos, clear heel protectors can prevent sinking into grass and provide additional stability. For Men: Patent Leather Oxfords - A timeless and sophisticated choice, perfect for black-tie attire. For added comfort, consider styles with cushioned insoles. Tuxedo Loafers or Slippers - A polished alternative, offering both style and ease. Opt for designs with either velvet or suede and a discreet rubber sole for enhanced stability on outdoor surfaces. Additional Guidance: We recommend keeping in mind that you will be walking on stairs, grass, gravel, and an indoor reception during this event—it’s important to balance elegance with practicality. We hope this helps you plan your attire so you can enjoy the evening in comfort and style!
